Labours Day 2018-19

A special assembly on labour’s Day was conducted by the students of class IV to felicitate the hardwork and contribution of the working staff of Delhi Public School, Servodaya Nagar. The assembly began with the speech welcoming the helping staff and acknowledging their hard work. The prayer marked the beginning of the assembly followed by the lines and poem on Dignity of Labour. Thereafter the hardworking and valuable members of Delhi Public School were felicitated by tying the wrist bands of their respective name tags and by distributing the sweets. It was a sincere gesture by the students towards the supporting staff that left them speechless. The supporting staff members were overwhelmed watching the assembly and expressed their gratitude towards the school management, teachers and students for their endeavour. Lastly the students with their rhythmic steps magnificently showcased their dance which brought great joy and happiness in them. Our Headmistress Mrs Pratibha Shukla congratulated and thanked the staff for their selfless service and their contribution towards the smooth functioning of the institution. The assembly came to an end with the recital of the national anthem.
