‘JASHN 2023 ‘ – A Musical Rhapsody, was organised at Delhi Public School Azad Nagar on Saturday 16th December, 2023 wherein the students of Delhi Public School Serrvodaya Nagar and Azad Nagar had put a great show.

The Additional Labour Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh Smt. Saumya Pandey graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with founder Mr Alok Misra, Pro-vice chairperson Ms. Bandana Misra, Director Ms. Rachna Mohotra, Principal Ms. Shilpa Manish and Headmistress Ms. Manju Passan.

The event commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by the Chief Guest and the dignitaries from the School Management synchronized with a melodious choir Shubh Swagatam. The presentations moved ahead with Ram Stuti.

The entire program was a melange of lively and vibrant dances. Aquatic Elegance as its name suggests was a thoughtful presentation by our tiny tots to showcase that we Indians are cognizant for all the sea creatures as now we do not throw any garbage and chemicals in the sea water.

A choir rendition of ‘Rasputin’ emphasized harmonious vocal synergy and storytelling, while an orchestra brings out dynamic instrumental layers, highlighting the song’s rhythmic intricacies and melodic richness. Our young choristers of DPS Serrvodaya Nagar presented a captivating interpretation of this iconic presentation.

‘Colourful Symphony’ was a jingoistic presentation by the students of classes -I, II and III to honour the power of unity, the grit of resilience and the echo of freedom.

‘Divine Masquerade’ was a captivating performance to showcase the dance of the God- ‘Theyyam’ which was a unique blend of cultural significance, artistic expressions and intense emotions. The students masked and adorned in vivid costumes, skilfully convey anger through powerful movement and facial expressions.
