Krishna Janmashtami 2022-23

Krishna Janmashtami also known simply as Janmashtami, is an annual Hindu Festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, The eighth avatar of Vishnu.
To celebrate this auspicious occasion, the Pre – Nursery children of DPS Serrvodaya Nagar presented a splendid and colourful performance on 18th August 22, depicting the birth of Lord Krishna with a message of victory of good over evil. They started with the chanting of the shloka from the Bhagavad Gita. The assembly began with the prayer followed by a skit wherein it showed how Lord Krishna became the son of Nand and Yashoda. It was a beautiful presentation with joyous melody and twirling dancers. Students truly communicated the message that “Every moment of life is worth a celebration”. The more you praise and celebrate life, the more there is in life to celebrate.”
